Our first event for the ASC year is the Bake & Flower Sale at the Annisquam Farmers’ Market, the Friday before the 4th of July, opening at 9:00, closing at noon.

Suggestions:

• Pies (which fly off the table)
• Cakes
• Cookies – suggestion only: packaged in groups of 6 or 12
  
• Bars
• Candy
  
• Novelty items (for example, chocolate dipped pretzel sticks with colored jimmies)

Guidelines

• Set up the tables and tents on Thursday afternoon. – Several members
• Price items Friday 8:00 – 9:00 – Two or three members
• Receive, sort and arrange items on the tables – Two or three members
• Take photos for the website, Facebook & publicity – anyone who wishes
  
• Sales staff from 9:00 – 10:30 – Two or three
  
• Sales staff from 10:30 – 12:00 – Two or three
  
• Checkout table – Three
  • Cash & check
  • Credit card machine
  • Help to add up the items on the sales slips
• Cleanup – Several members to fold the tables and tents and any other cleanup needed.
• There are always tasks for “floaters” to do.
