Summer ASC Bake & Flower Sale

Our first event for the ASC year is the Bake & Flower Sale at the Annisquam Farmers’ Market, the Friday before the 4th of July, opening at 9:00, closing at noon.

There are many opportunities to assist. The most important is creating delicious, eye-appealing baked goods.

Not a baker? We still look forward to your participation. Scroll down to the Signup Opportunities.

In the past, our tables were bare before the clock struck noon so more baked goods would be great!

Suggestions:

  • Pies (which fly off the table)
  • Cakes
  • Cookies – suggestion only: packaged in groups of 6 or 12
  • Bars
  • Candy
  • Novelty items (for example, chocolate dipped pretzel sticks with colored jimmies)

Guidelines

All Items:

  • Must be fully baked and ready to eat.
  • Should be packaged in an easy-to-carry, non-returnable, container.
  • Needs a label with a descriptive name and if there are nuts or is gluten-free
  • Please wrap so the food is in view.
  • You can add ribbon and a decorative label so it could be used as a hostess gift.
  • Food needs to be delivered to the Exchange by 8:00 so there is time to price and arrange on the tables.
But also very important are members who volunteer with the tasks of the day.

Signup Opportunities: Please let me know what you would like to do. Feel free to sign up for as many tasks as you wish! Most members are there for the duration. Reply to this email or send me a text at 617-678-1075.
