The mission of Action Inc. is to advance economic equity and foster a thriving community on Cape Ann and beyond. Our vision is to be an instrument of change, work collaboratively with partners to strengthen the community, and help people in our service area access the resources they need to achieve their goals.

Our services include affordable housing, supportive housing, emergency shelter, access to public benefits, rental & mortgage assistance, career assistance, job training programs, adult education & ESOL classes, preparation & instruction to take the high school equivalency test, financial counseling, intensive support for out-of-school youth, help paying home heating & utility bills, and home energy efficiency updates.
